The project involved the phased refurbishment
and extension to this existing three storey framed building originally
built as a factory for aircraft components.
Jordan Street, Liverpool
With Pearson Architects, Joule completed the structural assessment of the remains of this existing industrial unit, severely damaged by fire. This work allowed fire damaged steelwork to be retained and reused to support new timber floors as part of the refurbishment works.
Soapworks Boilerhouse, Salford
The first phase of the Soapworks development involved the conversion
of the former Boilerhouse to provide new office accommodation.
Godwin Street, Bradford
An existing department store on a principal street in Bradford has been converted into office accommodation with Client and Contractor Bowmer and Kikland and Blake Hopkinson Architects.
Littlewoods Bunker Building
Working with ShedKM for Client Capital and Centric, Joule were responsible for the structural engineering design of this refurbishment and office conversion of a former storage building as part of the wider Littlewoods site in Liverpool.
